ABIM joins Johor PKR Youth in calling to ban “Gang Bang JB Party”

JOHOR PKR Youth chief Mohamad Taufiq Ismail and the Malaysian Islamic Youth Movement (ABIM) are now two voices calling for a ban on the controversial “Gang Bang JB Party” event.Taufiq is now saying the event will proceed on a new date, but the location remains undisclosed. He stated that there have been attempts to change the event’s date to June 10, despite facing condemnation and opposition from various parties.“Although the sex party has not yet taken place, posters were circulating. Initially, it was scheduled for June 20, but in a recent Twitter post, it is believed that the organisers made a mistake in the date and changed it to June 10.
“However, I have noticed that the post has been removed,” Harian Metro reported him as saying.
ABIM Johor strongly opposes and calls for the immediate cancellation of the scheduled “Gang Bang JB Party” set to take place on June 20, 2023.According to ABIM Johor chairman Ustaz Farhan Ashari, the event, which is associated with immoral activities, is still unclear in terms of its location and whether it will proceed, despite strong warnings from the Johor police. He added that the organisation of the Gang Bang JB Party tarnishes the image of the Johor State Government, which consistently upholds the dignity of Islam.“ABIM Johor welcomes the call from the Johor state government, through the chairman of the committee on Islamic Affairs, Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid, who opposes any immoral activities in the state of Johor Darul Takzim.”Moreover, he further added that in December 2022, the Johor State Islamic Religious Department successfully prevented the organisation of a foam party that was secretly held in a luxurious hotel in Johor Bahru.
Last Tuesday (May 23), State Islamic Affairs Exco Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid reportedly instructed the Johor State Islamic Religious Department to take immediate action following the circulation of the “Gang Bang JB Party” poster, originally scheduled for June 20.
Recently, invitations or posters for the wild party have been circulating on Twitter.Based on the advertisements, the programme is open to people of all races and prohibits any video or photo recording. The information that has been circulated also encourages participants to bring their condoms and towels. – May 28, 2023
