AEON Credit unveils major initiatives to enhance customer experience

THE prominent non-bank financial services provider AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd has announced a series of transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience and promoting financial inclusion. These developments were unveiled during an exclusive media presentation at the company’s flagship branch today.

Among the key initiatives is the introduction of the new AEON Wallet App, which now features digital onboarding and an array of exciting new functions.

The app, designed to simplify financial management for users includes a refreshed interface, improved payment processes, and expanded access to financial products.

Moreover, the digital onboarding process has been significantly streamlined, reducing the time required from three days to just 52 minutes. This enhancement includes pre-assessment tools, e-signatures, and advanced scoring models.

“In line with our Purpose, AEON Credit is committed to continuously improving how we serve our customers. We aim to make financial services more accessible, promote financial inclusion, address our customers’ complete lifecycle needs, and enhance their overall experience,” said AEON Credit CCO Lee Kit Seong.

“Digitalisation is at the core of this endeavour, enabling us to consolidate shopping and financial services in a way that can streamline interactions and transactions for all AEON Group customers, vendors, suppliers, tenants and merchants through a unified touchpoint,” he explained.

The upgraded AEON Wallet App also introduces a two-tier system: a Basic Wallet with a maximum limit of RM200, and a Premium Wallet, which can hold up to RM10,000. The Premium Wallet, accessible through a simple e-KYC verification process, offers additional benefits such as earning points on every transaction and seamless fund transfers.

In a move to rebrand its credit card offerings, AEON Credit has introduced the all-new AEON Virtual Credit Card, designed specifically for online transactions.

This virtual card, which provides a unique card number separate from the physical card, enhances security for online purchases. Available immediately through the AEON Wallet App, the Virtual Card boasts features such as no annual fees and no replacement fees, making it a cost-effective and secure option for customers.

Furthermore, AEON Credit is expanding its physical presence with the launch of new flagship branches. Following the recent opening of the Setia City Mall branch in July, the company is set to unveil another flagship branch at IOI City Mall on Aug 31, 2024. These branches, featuring modern designs and eco-friendly elements, are equipped with state-of-the-art digital technology to streamline service delivery and provide customers with unparalleled convenience.

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance customer experience, AEON Credit has also renovated two existing branches, introducing a new brand concept and establishing direct sales teams to better serve customers.

To coincide with the grand opening of the IOI City Mall flagship branch on Aug 31, 2024, AEON Credit will offer a range of exclusive benefits, inviting customers to celebrate Merdeka with them. – Aug 21, 2024
