WHILE the story of realistic AI is no longer news, a recent AI video has attracted the attention of the cyberspace for its novel content.
Technology has always been seen as an opposing force to religion, so it is a poke in the eye of spirituality when someone had the audacity of making an AI video featuring religious figures talking about religion.
Out of sarcasm perhaps, a scene in the video showed a religious figure telling the viewers not to be fooled by the slander propagated by these videos.
The internet community was up in alarm, with many netizens either calling for it to be curbed or to have some safety measure in place.
Mampus. Dia dah masuk benda benda berkaitan agama. Gunalah Ai dgn sebaik sebaiknya….sbb skrg zaman fitnah taktau mana betul mana salah

In the comment section, netizen @syhdhrslan_ said the video, although realistic, still held impurities that revealed it as an AI output, such as the blinking eyes of the actors.
“The technology is not advanced yet. Even though it is not advanced, it is still able to confuse some people. Now what will happen when it gets advanced?” said @ZaidiIbnu in reply to him.
Also, @zoulkiflyy1404 was very concerned about the old people who live in the village, that they may be fooled by such AI videos.
The picture comment from @sakak_musdom held more pessimism:
“A long time ago it was the parents who monitor their child. Now their child will need to monitor their parents when they are playing with social media,” said @eth_flaming.
Perhaps the best comment came from @kazamashinju who said, “Technology eats its master. Now we are the slaves to technology.”
Prompted by the realistic rendering of the AI, @Norreza19981 said actors and actresses will soon be out of a job, with the exception of the long timers.
To end this topic on a chilling note, @KEKokusai pointed out that the prophet once warned that there will come an age when people will not be able to differentiate between what was real and false.
“This is the age the prophet was talking about,” said @KEKokusai. —May 30, 2025
