PENGURUSAN Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) announced that water supply will be fully restored in the USJ areas by 3pm today.
“The duration of the water supply recovery in affected areas may vary based on the distance between consumers’ homes and the distribution system’s water pressure.
“Therefore, Air Selangor would like to remind consumers to leave their taps run for a while before using it for daily consumption, once supply resumes as usual,” Air Selangor corporate communication head Elina Baseri said, in a statement.
Earlier today, consumers from USJ 1 to USJ 27 experienced low water pressure and disruption due to a technical problem at the main distribution pipe at the Sime UEP water reservoir in Kampung Kenangan, Puchong, which led to a water decrease there.
With that, Elina said that Air Selangor regretted the inconvenience caused to consumers and would work hard to restore water supply as soon as possible.
