KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Group Bhd (AAGB) and AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) have appointed BDO Governance Advisory Sdn Bhd as the independent expert to assist the non-executive independent board committee in undertaking a review concerning both companies.
On Feb 3, AAGB announced in a filing to Bursa Malaysia that it had set up a non-executive independent board committee comprising non-executive members of the board to review the Airbus bribery allegations against the airline and take any necessary action based on the review.
