Angkasa calls off working visit to China following outbreak

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian National Co-operative Movement (Angkasa) has cancelled its working visit to China following the novel coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement today, it said that the Angkasa delegation was supposed to take part in the Malaysia Business Office (MBO) Council meeting and Innovation and Technology Sector Seminar from Feb 18-20, organised by the International Cooperative Alliance Asia Pacific (ICA-AP) in Hainan, China.

“Angkasa has decided to call off the working visit following the latest developments in the coronavirus outbreak and has informed the ICA-AP of its decision.

“The ICA-AP has also decided to postpone the meeting and seminar to a date which will be announced later,” it said. – Jan 27, 2020, Bernama
