AZHAR Abdul Hamid’s tenure as FGV Holdings Bhd chairman has been extended effective Sept 8.
Minister of Finance Inc, as the special shareholder of the plantation group, had extended Azhar’s tenure which was set to expire this year, FGV said in a July 24 bourse filing today.
Azhar’s first stint as chairman began after his appointment on Sept 11, 2017.
FGV’s shares hovered at RM1.24 before the midday break today, giving the oil palm planter a market capitalisation of RM4.52 bil. – July 24, 2020
