THE introduction of the Beauty2Go platform came at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the economy and the lives of thousands of Malaysians, including those in the beauty and wellness industry.
The platform, which was introduced in November 2020 to help address the supply and demand gap in the industry amidst the pandemic, was created by Serba Dinamik’s subsidiary, Serba Dinamik IT Solutions Sdn Bhd (SDIT).
It aims to offer consumers the ability to enjoy high-quality massages, facials, physical therapy, and confinement packages from trained and experienced therapists at the comfort of their own home.
“Reports show that the beauty and wellness industry is among the top 10 most negatively impacted industries during this pandemic. With the formation of Beauty2Go platform, we can help those in the industry that are severely affected,” said SDIT Solutions Sdn Bhd group CEO Datuk Dr. Ir. Ts Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah.
In effort to combat the unemployment rate in the beauty and wellness industry, Beauty2Go has taken the initiative to welcome any individuals who are keen to join its talent development programme, which comes with added incentives and income-generating opportunities.
Both experienced and inexperienced talents would be offered intensive online training courses by industry professionals, their own supply of tools and equipment for treatments and an easy tool for scheduling, booking and income management, alongside with insurance coverage and COVID-19 testing, flexible working hours, consistent job volume and smooth payment process.
On top of these incentives, each talent is also trained to hone their massaging technique, presentation, and communication skills before beginning their journey with Beauty2Go. This is to ensure the quality of services rendered is on par with what customers would typically receive from any five-star establishment.
To date, Beauty2Go has recruited and trained more than 80 local therapists.
Online training courses are held every two weeks starting on the July 15, 2021. Interested talents are welcomed to join and register themselves to attend the programme.
