BURSA Malaysia finished lower following a strong US employment report that eliminated hopes of interest rate cut, said an analyst.
At 5pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 5.24 points to end at intraday; low of 1,511.34 from Friday’s close of 1,516.58.
The barometer index opened 0.67 of-a-point easier at 1,515.91 and hit an intraday higher of 1,520.98 earlier in the day. – Feb 5, 2024
