EasyStore help SMEs catch up on e-commerce capabilities

ALTHOUGH the pandemic globally accelerated digital adoption for most companies, many small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are still struggling to fully embrace the digitalisation.

In efforts to address this issue, EasyStore offers a simplified method for SMEs to enhance their e-commerce capabilities by providing a convenient and cost-effective platform.

The multiple sales channel platform helps its merchants to improve customer reach, revenue diversification and increase overall sales, successfully generating a total of RM500 mil in gross merchandise value (GMV) by the end of 2020.

With EasyStore, merchants will be able to sync every product from over 13 sales channels into one integrated platform and streamlining their operations.

“Currently, over 80% of businesses hosted on the EasyStore platform are marketing and selling their products to more than one sales channel. This is important to help businesses establish an online presence and centralise their operations,” explained EasyStore CEO Frost Chen.

“Therefore, integrated systems can effectively help merchants to keep track of their sales and orders,” he added.

On the backend, EasyStore also features market synchronisation, multi-currency shopping carts on online stores, automated shipping solutions and secure payment solutions.

“During this period (of the pandemic), over 70% of businesses that joined our platform had no prior eCommerce experience, and yet have recorded a 30% to 300% increase in sales,” Chen said.

Additionally, EasyStore plans to expand internationally with a focus on the Taiwan market where it has established a strong base of over 3,000 online stores. – Jan 28, 2021
