Cheetah unveils Japanese anime-inspired Spy X Family Collection at Nihon Matsuri 2024

DOMINANT home-grown sports and casual wear designer and retailer Cheetah Holdings Bhd has unveiled its highly anticipated Cheetah | Spy X Family Collection at the Nihon Matsuri 2024 held at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil from July 25 to Aug 4.

This new collection is also available on Cheetah’s own website which offers anime fans and fashion enthusiasts an exciting opportunity to embrace their favourite anime in style.

This launch marks Cheetah’s second venture into the world of anime intellectual properties (IPs) following last year’s resounding success with its Attack On Titan collection.

Recognising the growing trend and widespread popularity of Japanese anime, Cheetah aims to attract a younger demographic by tapping into the vibrant and ever-expanding anime culture.

The launch event at Nihon Matsuri 2024 was nothing short of spectacular as Cheetah | Spy X Family fans had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the anime’s universe through a variety of activities and exclusive merchandise.

The event showcased a range of exciting activities from Cheetah Holdings. Attendees received a free Spy X Family sticker and a RM5 Cheetah cash voucher upon entry.

Participants who dressed as any anime character get to enjoy a 50% discount for the Cheetah | Spy X Family Collection, limited to the first 20 participants per day.

A social media contest further invites visitors to snap a photo at the booth, share it with the designated hashtag and follow @CheetahMalaysia for a chance to win RM100 cash and a RM200 Cheetah online cash voucher.

The “Find Anya” game offered rewards of Spy X Family and Cheetah merchandise with those locating all five Anyas eligible for exclusive items.

Additionally, the gifting tower event featured free Spy X Family and Cheetah merchandise give-aways, adding to the excitement and engagement of the attendees.
