“Christian-cross” building freaks out religious netizen

WE can all attest to this statement that Malaysia is a beautiful and peaceful country. But we also know deep down that all of hell will break loose when the three Rs, Race, Religion and Royalty are being discussed.

So recently, it comes as no surprise when a video turned viral showing a building in the night where the lights resembled a giant Christian cross.

The person who recorded the video finds it offensive, stating that previously it was only in Penang. Apparently giant crosses of light are now present in Kuala Lumpur and he finds this a disturbing development.

However, he is going to be sorely disappointed if he was searching for some sympathy or approval from the online community.

According to netizen @ashraffbadrul, the supporters of PAS are like hillbillies when they arrive at Kuala Lumpur, that they were akin to the Batak tribe from Indonesia.

Another netizen pointed out that the slang of the person in the video reminded him of a Jihadist or Taliban. He said the man likely wants to turn Malaysia into Syria or Afghanistan.

“The person who made this video must be of the Dracula race. They cannot see the cross. Their bodies are filled with pain. If they look at it for long, they will become ash like End Game,” said @Disasterlevel who was referring to the Marvel movie.

Also, @AMINULSWATFADZR cautioned that he would be shivering if he ever set foot in Sabah.

@nurulinchains added that he would be burning if he goes to Sabah. “I always wondered what will be the response of these people who saw the massive crosses like in Sabah. Are they so fearful that their faith will be distorted if they saw the cross? Is their faith really that weak?”

@af_f4hmi pointed out that such individuals would automatically be converted into Christianity if they saw those things.

Perhaps the winning comment goes to @Ttmeric1314 who said these people cannot write or read the letter “t” since it resembles a Christian cross.

“Maybe he fears the symbol “+.” No wonder so many failed their maths,” added @zee_yusoff.

Lastly, @maximrider recommended that they only write in big letter “T” as the small letter “t” may shake their faith. —May 7, 2025
