Companies Commission reactivates online services

KUALA LUMPUR: The Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) today reactivated the MyCoID portal https://mycoid2016.ssm.com.my/, which will operate 24 hours a day.

In a statement, CCM said transactions that may be done through the MyCoID portal are user registration, searches and name registration, incorporation of companies (INC), appointment of first company secretary (AFC), lodgment of constitution (LoC), change of registered address (CRA), change of particulars of officers (CPO), return of allotment of shares (RoA), register of members (RoM) and reassignment of company secretary (RAC).

It said although the user registration module has been reactivated, new users may only reactivate after CCM’s physical counters resume operations to enable identity verification.

Besides MyCoID, other CCM online services that have been reactivated since March 28 include the portals for CCM corporate information www.ssm-einfo.my (SSM e-Info) and www.mydata-ssm.com.my (MyData-SSM) as well as the EzBiz Online portal www.ezbiz.ssm.com.my, which also operate 24 hours a day.

“However, due to the limited number of CCM staff and reduced mobility of partners in adherence with the Movement Control Order (MCO), online services will be reactivated in stages.

“The status of other CCM online services will be notified from time to time,” it added.

CCM said its physical counters nationwide will be temporarily closed until the MCO period ends, after which its operations will fully resume subject to the latest government directive. – April 2, 2020, Bernama
