USUALLY, any video involving a cute baby animal should score high points on the cyberspace. But if that video involves a Malay girl cuddling a cute piglet, then expect all hell to break loose.
To add salt to the wound of the Muslim community, she could be seen enjoying herself, rocking the piglet back and forth while singing, “Oh my baby angel.”
At the end of the video, she released the piglet who quickly ran away, likely sensing the online backlash that was soon to come.

Skimming through the comment section in the video post on X, it is claimed that the scene or rather “tragedy” is in Indonesia. It is also in the comment section where netizens in huge numbers could be seen lambasting her.
Zack Anfield said Indonesia was very weird. “Is this a Christian lady wearing a shawl,” he wondered.
Gajuspedas added that his auntie once said that people need to be careful when eating a meal in Indonesia as some shawl-wearing individuals would also sell pig.
Then there was one sharp-tongued netizen who said the video showed a pig holding a baby instead.
On the other hand, Zaini said such behaviour is futile and that it was best not to be shown on the cyberspace as it would bring slander to oneself.
“Best to keep this to ourselves. This is a reminder to yourself,” said Zaini.
Angered at the many disrespectful comments hurled towards Indonesians, Rafffff claimed that Malaysia is similar.
The only positive comment came from SmallNoDot, who said that it was cute.
But are Muslims allowed to touch pork? According to the Sunnah Times, muslims are not allowed to do so. “Muslims are not allowed to consume, trade or serve pork in any aspect,” it said.
The opinion of the scholars on this topic is divided into two. One group of scholars suggest that it is ok to deal with pork in terms of business or trade but the majority of other scholars believe that we cannot deal with pork in any aspect, not even in any kind of trade.
