TOUCHING is such a bonding gesture. But when it involves strangers, it takes on a whole world of meaning, sexual harassment chief being among them.
Tell that to a man who was being video recorded being a little too touchy with two female tourists.
Apparently he was asking them for a wefie, but his hands quickly revealed that he had other intentions.
The brief video did not reveal the identity of the man in sunglasses but a good number of netizens claimed that he was a Bangladeshi.

“Later he will tell his friends in his country that those were his girlfriends,” said Tricky Willy while one netizen further claimed that this was the happiest day for the Bangla.
Netizen NegaraKuTanahAir added that if he were the two ladies, he would have knocked the head of the person and stepped on his testicles.
Another said the tourists will then think he was a Malaysian and that it would be bad for the country’s reputation.
“Fantastic! Now Malaysia will be known for being creeps to foreigners,” said BYM. Also, Adam wondered if the white ladies felt disgusted by the smell of the man’s armpit.
Echoing his thoughts were Macam Macam who said these people bring along their culture when they entered Malaysia.
“The LRT is filled with their behaviour. They play their handphones loudly, talk loudly and have a body odour that makes it hard for people to breathe,” he said.
The hate continued, taking on stereotypical and racist undertones.
On our part, it can be dangerous and ignorant to immediately label the man as being of a certain race or nationality.
With the sunglasses on and the added distance, he could be anyone, including being a Malaysian.
As for the body odour and bad behaviour, there is no one size fits all for the foreigners who come to our land.
More than that, the hateful comments on this post is equally a mirror that reflects us, the proud, civilised people of Malaysia. —Feb 17, 2025
