COVID-19: 1,335 new cases, two deaths

THE Health Ministry today reported that the nation continues to record four-digit new infection cases daily, with 1,335 COVID-19 cases and two deaths as of today.

In a statement via Twitter, the ministry’s director general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that 1,069 patients have recovered from the coronavirus as well.

“For now, the total cases of COVID-19 in the country is 72,694. The total recovery cases now stand at 61,273.

“With two deaths recorded today, the total number of those who have died due to COVID-19 is now at 382,” he added.

On related matter, Noor Hisham said his team has detected three new COVID-19 clusters in the country.

“The new clusters are Ceram (Negeri Sembilan), Pulau Berhala (Sabah) and Tampoi (Johor),” he said.  – Dec 6, 2020.
