EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 63 deaths for yesterday and 21 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 34,463.
The site indicated 358 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 199 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 17,828 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,010,952.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 28,003 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,712,668.
Johor recorded the highest number of deaths at 14 followed by Selangor (13), Perak (12), Kedah (4), Penang (3), Sarawak (3), Kuala Lumpur (3), Malacca (2), Sabah (2), Terengganu (2), Kelantan (1), Negri Sembilan (1), Pahang (1), Perlis (1), and Labuan (1). — March 22, 2022
