EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 65 deaths for yesterday and 15 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 34,600.
The site indicated 332 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 189 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 22,491 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,054,926.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 26,234 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,771,463.
Selangor recorded the highest number of deaths at 12 followed by Perak (11), Johor (10), Malacca (5), Pahang (5), Kedah (4), Negri Sembilan (3), Sabah (3), Sarawak (3), Kuala Lumpur (3), Penang (2), Kelantan (1), Perlis (1), Terengganu (1) and Labuan (1). — March 24, 2022
