EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated eight deaths for yesterday and two was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 35,507.
The site indicated 98 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 63 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 2,478 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,433,551.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 9,215 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 4,330,037.
Selangor recorded highest number of fatalities at five deaths, followed by Kedah (two), and Melaka (one). — April 26, 2022
