EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 95 deaths for yesterday and 23 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 33,994.
The site indicated 376 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 222 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 26,534 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,872,135.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 31,234 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,533,994.
Selangor recorded the highest number of deaths at 21 followed by Johor (16), Perak (14), Kedah (10), Penang (8), Sabah (5), Malacca (4), Pahang (4), Perlis (4), Negri Sembilan (3), Sarawak (3), Kelantan (2) and Terengganu (1). — March 16, 2022
