EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 10 deaths for yesterday and one was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 35,536.
The site indicated 84 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 56 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 2,935 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,443,318.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 7,585 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 4,354,006.
Penang, Selangor and Terengganu recorded highest number of fatalities at two deaths each, followed by Johor, Kedah, Melaka and Putrajaya reported one death each. — April 29, 2022
