EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 86 deaths for yesterday and 28 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 33,028.
The site indicated 355 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 208 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 32,467 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,504,670.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 27,629 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,197,298.
Johor recorded the highest number of deaths at 20 followed by followed by Perak (11), Kedah (9), Malacca (7), Sabah (7), Pahang (6), Kuala Lumpur (6), Kelantan (5), Pulau Pinang (4), Selangor (4), Putrajaya (3), Perlis (2), Sarawak (1) and Terengganu (1). — March 4, 2022
