EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated eight deaths for yesterday and three was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 35,598.
The site indicated 59 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 34 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 3,321 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,433,551.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 1,416 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 4,406,613.
Johor recorded highest number of fatalities at two deaths, followed by Kedah (two), Pahang (two), Negeri Sembilan (one) and Perak (one). — May 12, 2022
