EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 67 deaths for yesterday and 23 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 33,173.
The site indicated 371 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 226 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 33,406 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,595,172.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 27,143 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,250,793.
Selangor recorded the highest number of deaths at 14 followed by followed by Kedah (12), Johor (10), Perak (8), Sabah (7), Malacca (4), Perlis (4), Kelantan (3), Pahang (3), Negri Sembilan (1) and Penang (1). — March 6, 2022
