EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated five deaths for yesterday and four was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 35,470.
The site indicated 92 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 61 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 5,899 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,415,101.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 8,434 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 4,291,447.
Selangor recorded highest number of fatalities at three deaths, followed by Sabah (one) and Sarawak (one). — April 22, 2022
