COVID-19: 629 new cases, six deaths

THE Health Ministry today reported 629 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths as of 12pm today.

However, in a tweet today, the ministry’s director general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that 245 patients have managed to recover from the coronavirus.

“Therefore, the total cases of COVID-19 in the country is at 18,758, while the total recovery cases now stand at 12,259,” he said.

“With six deaths recorded today, the total number of those who have lost their lives to COVID-19 is now at 176,” he added.

Sabah recorded the highest number of cases (489), followed by Selangor (50), Penang (33), Labuan (19), Kuala Lumpur (10) and Perak (9).
