EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 16 deaths for yesterday and eight was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 35,465.
The site indicated 97 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 63 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 6,968 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,409,202.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 8,267 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 4,283,013. — April 21, 2022
