EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 19 deaths for yesterday and three was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 35,311.
The site indicated 174 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 102 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 7,739 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,333,557.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 19,049 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 4,163,777.
Selangor recorded highest number of fatalities at four deaths, followed by Johor (two), Kedah (two), Pahang (two), Perak (two), Sarawak (two), Kuala Lumpur (two), Melaka (one), Penang (one) and Terengganu (one). — April 12, 2022
