EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 38 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 29,978.
“Of the current active cases, 529 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 261 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 5,859 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,581,747.
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 4,970 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,482,284.
Terengganu recorded the highest death toll with 12 deaths, followed by Perak (5), Kedah (4) and Sarawak (4). – Nov 21, 2021.
