WITH many still enjoying the festivities, Malaysia recorded 4,140 cases today, bringing the cumulative total to 466,330.
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 3,432 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 422,329.
“Forty-four people have died today, bringing the death tally to 1,866,” he added.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases again (1,507), followed by Johor (433), Kuala Lumpur (398) and Penang (338).
“Of the current active cases, 482 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 250 of them in need of ventilator support,” he remarked. – May 15, 2021.
