COVID-19: Malaysia breached 32k infections in the last 24 hours

EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 46 deaths for yesterday and 17 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 32,488.

The site indicated 327 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 201 of them in need of ventilator support. 

As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 32,070 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,337,227 

In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 23,332 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,018,172 

Johor and Kedah recorded the highest number of deaths at 8 each, followed by Pahang (7), Sabah (7), Selangor (6), Perak (3), Penang (3), Terengganu (2), Kelantan (1), Negri Sembilan (1). — Feb 25, 2022
