COVID-19: Only time will tell whether MCO 3.0 works or not

NEW COVID-19 infections remain dangerously high as Malaysia recorded 4,519 cases today, bringing the cumulative total to 436,944.

In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 2,719 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 398,723.

“Twenty-five people have died today, bringing the death tally to 1,657,” he added.

Selangor recorded the highest number of cases again (1,722), followed by Kuala Lumpur (557), Sarawak (479) and Kelantan (373).

“Of the current active cases, 393 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 210 of them in need of ventilator support,” he remarked. – May 8, 2021.
