EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 13 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 32,065.
“Of the current active cases, 147 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 79 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 17,134 infections, bringing the cumulative total 2,956,332.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 5,681 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now standing at 2,829,752.
Perak recorded the highest death toll last month with 80 deaths, followed by Terengganu (56) and Johor (48). – Feb 10, 2022
