EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 14 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 31,882.
“Of the current active cases, 141 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 62 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 4,116 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,829,089.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced that 2,858 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,753,119.
Terengganu recorded the highest death toll with 15 deaths, followed by Pahang (9) and Melaka (8). – Jan 23, 2022
