EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 32 deaths for yesterday and nine was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 35,192.
The site indicated 221 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 122 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 12,105 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,280,591.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 21,029 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 4,083,183.
Johor recorded highest number of fatalities at seven deaths, followed by Selangor (seven), Perak (five), Terengganu (four), Kedah (three), Malacca (three), Negri Sembilan (one), Perlis (one) and Kuala Lumpur (one). — April 7, 2022
