EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 41 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 32,180.
“Of the current active cases, 194 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 120 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 22,133 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,083,683.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 7,584 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now standing at 2,868,538.
Perak recorded the highest death toll last month with 84 deaths, followed by Johor (82) and Sabah (78). – Feb 16, 2022
