EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 56 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 32,239.
“Of the current active cases, 216 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 141 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 26,701 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,138,215.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 11,744 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now standing at 2,888,194.
Sabah recorded the highest death toll with 13 deaths, followed by Perak (10) and Johor (8). – Feb 17, 2022
