COVID-19: Over 200 in ICU as the nation records 27,831 infections

EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 30 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 32,180.

“Of the current active cases, 204 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 116 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated. 

As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 27,831 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,111,514 

In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 7,912 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now standing at 2,876,450 

Perak recorded the highest death toll with 92 deaths, followed by Sabah (86) and Johor (74). – Feb 17, 2022
