EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 42 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 32,310.
“Of the current active cases, 238 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 130 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 28,825 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,194,848.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 18,514 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now standing at 2,919,196.
Sabah recorded the highest death toll with 16 deaths, followed by Johor (12) and Kedah (10). – Feb 20, 2022
