EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 77 deaths for yesterday and 23 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 33,720.
The site indicated 367 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 211 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 26,250 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,801,036.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 25,089 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,443,532.
Penang recorded the highest number of deaths at 12 followed by Kelantan (11), Selangor (11), and Kedah (9). — March 13, 2022
