EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 86 deaths for yesterday and 35 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 34,185.
The site indicated 373 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 225 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 27,004 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,927,437.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 29,450 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,596,453.
Perak recorded the highest number of deaths at 16 followed by Selangor (14), Kedah (10), Malacca (eight), Johor (seven), Kelantan (six), Penang (six), Sabah (six), Terengganu (six), Negri Sembilan (four), Pahang (two) and Kuala Lumpur (one). — March 18, 2022
