EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 25 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 31,315.
“Of the current active cases, 324 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 175 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 3,004 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,731,516.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced that 4,421 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,661,495.
Selangor recorded the highest death toll with six deaths, followed by Perak (4), Johor (3) and Penang (3). – Dec 26, 2021.
