EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 40 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 30,280.
“Of the current active cases, 510 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 258 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 5,080 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,613,731.
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 5,352 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,522,045.
Perak recorded the highest death toll with six deaths, followed by Kelantan (5), Selangor (5) and Terengganu (5). – Nov 28, 2021.
