EARLIER today, the Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 45 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 29,937.
“Of the current active cases, 542 patients are still in receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs), with 268 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 6,355 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,575,888.
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 5,031 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,477,314.
Sabah recorded the highest death toll with 15 deaths, followed by Selangor (7), Kedah (5) and Sarawak (4). – Nov 20, 2021
