MALAYSIA recorded a daily infection rate of 22,070 cases today, bringing the cumulative total to 1,381,668.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry (MOH) also announced that 21,877 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 1,381,668.
Of the current 265,695 active cases, 982 patients are still receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU), with 470 of them in need of ventilator support.
Meanwhile, 339 people have succumbed today, bringing the death tally to 15,550.
Selangor recorded the highest number of fresh cases with 5,920, followed by Sabah (3,010) and Sarawak (2,224). – Aug 27, 2021.
