THE Health Ministry today reported 852 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths as of 12pm today.
In a press conference, the ministry’s director general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that 825 patients have recovered from the coronavirus as well.
“Therefore, the total cases of COVID-19 in the country is at 40,209. The total recovery cases now stand at 28,234.
“With four deaths recorded today, the total number of those who have lost their lives to COVID-19 is now at 286,” he added.
Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the country stood at 11,689 cases.
To date, 94 active cases are being treated at the intensive care unit, of which 32 cases require life support. – Nov 8, 2020
