Covid-19: BSN headquarters, two branches closed for disinfecting

KUALA LUMPUR: Wisma BSN, the headquarters of Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), and its Kuala Lumpur Main Branch are closed from today until March 20 for a comprehensive cleaning and disinfecting work after employees’ contact with outsiders who may have been exposed to Covid-19.

Similarly closed – until March 28 – is its Port Dickson branch where a customer was found to have contracted Covid-19 and is under quarantine.

BSN said customers can continue to perform transactions at other branches as well as through the bank’s internet banking, myBSN.

“BSN would also like to inform all customers that we will continue to keep them abreast on the latest developments of the Covid-19 outbreak and will implement any additional preemptive measures in our efforts to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and customers.

“BSN sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused in the course of undertaking these measures,” it added. – March 19, 2020, Bernama
