Cyberjaya: Where tranquility meets modernity

DANIEL has carved a successful career with a MNC based in Cyberjaya. Having joined the company a decade ago, he has worked his way up towards senior management. The only issue is that his hours are long and he has to work many weekends, leaving him little time to visit his elderly parents in Sitiawan, Perak.

Not wanting to miss out on any more quality time with his parents, he discussed the idea of them moving closer to him. He brought his retired parents to visit several developments in Cyberjaya, where he also owned a condominium.

His parents were open to the idea as they missed Daniel very much. More importantly, the vibe they got from Cyberjaya was not the hustle and bustle of a big city. It was more akin to the peaceful and slightly more laid-back vibe of their home town of Sitiawan.

The senior citizens also liked that Cyberjaya was not an over-developed behemoth that is congested and over-crowded. With plenty of parks in the vicinity, it promised a lifestyle of leisurely evening walks and relaxed dinners at the many restaurants popping up in the area.

They were very impressed by one development in particular – edusphere. Part of HCK Capital Group’s Education City Series, the mixed integrated development will have University of Cyberjaya on-site as its anchor component.

The residential components on offer were the Covington, Foster and Northwood suites. The larger unit having 750 sq ft of space with a living room, two rooms and two bathrooms. They also feature dual key entrances.

On site amenities include swimming pool, jogging track, gymnasium, and clubhouse. Daniel and his parents were sufficiently impressed by the package on offer, especially the price tag. Daniel began mulling over selling his current digs and buying two residential units at edusphere.

With everyone in agreement, Daniel began the transitioning of his parents from sleepy Sitiawan to the peaceful yet ultra-modern surroundings of Cyberjaya.
