Dayang nabs umbrella contract for modification works

DAYANG Enterprise Holdings Bhd has received a letter of award for the provision of modification works by Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company Sdn Bhd (CPOC).

The contract was secured by Dayang’s wholly-owned subsidiary Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd, and the umbrella contract is for Block B-17 & C-19 and B-17-01. CPOC is a joint venture between Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd and Thailand’s PTTEPI.

“The value of the contract is based on work orders issued by CPOC throughout the contract duration and shall include any or all other work and services which are generally related to the scope of works in this contract at a fixed schedule of rates,” Dayang said in its filing on Bursa on Feb 4.

The duration of the contract is three years, with a two-year extension option, and is effective from Jan 3.

Dayang had also secured two contracts on Jan 13, through the same subsidiary, for the provision of integrated hook-up and commissioning (i-HUC) services for Petronas Carigali. These two contracts have a duration of four years, effective Jan 1.

At the end of the trading day, Dayang’s shares were last done at RM2.77, down four sen, with 8.68 million shares changing hands. – Feb 4, 2020
