Driver grabs attention by making endless circles around roundabout: Police are investigating

THE world would be a very boring place indeed if everyone behaved normally. Occasionally, we need a strange person or two to spice things up, create drama or just do something that no one else have done.

Recently, the driver of a white car could be seen making endless circles around the roundabout at Mahkota Taman Tasek, Keluang.

Apparently the person had been making one too many circles for his weird behaviour finally drew the attention of police officers who came to investigate.

More interesting was the fact that there was only one person in the car which continuously flashed the distress signal.

The online community were abuzz with theories on why the driver decided to go on a perpetual spin and some of them were downright comedy material.

According to netizens, this was what happens when people become jobless or bored while another commented that the driver was reminiscing about testing out the cars at the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

One netizen jokingly said he was going to service his car, that he needed the mileage to be correct.

Echoing his statement were several others who said he may be looking to sell his car off and the mileage needs to be at the right number.

“Leave him alone. He will stop when the car runs out of oil. As long as he does not bother people,” said goodies.

Adib also suggested that he be placed in the Malaysia Book of Records for turning from dawn to dusk.

“Likely this is a marketing for the car, that its oil consumption allowed it to stay from day to night,” pointed out Siu Mei.

Then there was ruby ruby ruby ruby who suggested that he was just taking a license and the teacher was beside him.

“The teacher just taught him how to enter a roundabout but the teacher passed out. He is waiting for the teacher to wake up. Pity him,” she said.

On a more serious note, Gajuspedas observed that the person was clever enough to brake the car so as not to collide with the other vehicles.

Perhaps the best comment to end this very interesting scenario came from epsilon lambda who said, “Never a dull day living in Malaysia.” —Feb 14, 2025
